ooVoo’s new face-to-face video and voice communications software required a scalable and interoperable presence platform to power its vision of a seamless, fun, and easy-to-use communication experience.
Using the Jabber Extensible Communications Platform™ (Jabber XCP™) as a multi-protocol presence server, the ooVoo client is able to do voice and video messaging including sending and receiving presence changes and text messages. When a user goes online, the presence of their friends and colleagues is immediately visible. Click-to-video call, click-to-instant message (IM), or group chat are available from within the client.
For ooVoo users the result is a unique, vibrant, real-time video communications experience.
