Jabber, BT, and Movial to Participate in Spring VON.x
Expert Panelists to Discuss Presence Development Tools at Largest Internet Communications Conference

March 5, 2008 – Denver, Colo. – Jabber, Inc. today announced that it will participate in the “Delivering on the Promise of Presence: What Do You Need?” panel discussion at Spring VON.x with BT and Movial. This year’s event will be held at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, CA, between March 17 and March 20, 2008. The “Delivering on the Promise of Presence: What Do You Need?” panel is scheduled from 4:50 to 6:00 p.m. PST on Wednesday, March 19.

Moderated by Carl Ford, community developer and vice president of content at Pulvermedia, the panel features Joe Hildebrand, chief technology officer of Jabber, Inc.; Vincent Sider, head of IM and presence at BT; and Wade Vesey, business development for North America at Movial.

The panel will discuss:

  • The next-generation of presence-based applications and services being developed in the market

  • What development tools are needed to build new applications
