When an end user picks up the phone on their desk, Jabber’s platform changes their presence across all devices automatically to “on the phone” and back to its previous setting at the call’s termination. When presence changes to “do not disturb,” calls are automatically routed to voicemail. If presence changes to “away,” the call is routed to a mobile phone.
By compiling a more complete presence profile, users communicate and collaborate more effectively using a highly differentiated and next generation private branch exchange (PBX).
