Jabber, Inc. is the most aggressive and vocal proponent for instant messaging (IM) interoperability and presence-enabled services in the industry. Jabber, Inc. solutions enable companies to interact with other IM clients and servers, regardless of protocol. With the Jabber Extensible Communications Platform™ (Jabber XCP™), companies get native support for server-to-server federation, allowing secure and controlled communication with customers, partners, and vendors. The ability to use Jabber XCP to communicate with servers and clients using Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP), Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), SIP for Instant Messaging and Presence Leveraging Extensions (SIMPLE), or Instant Messaging and Presence Service (IMPS) gives enterprises and operators robust IM and presence capabilities to reach the widest range of business and community contacts.

AIM® Gateway from Jabber, Inc.
With the AIM Gateway from Jabber, Inc., Jabber XCP users can easily exchange presence and messages with AIM® users and vice versa, strengthening your ability to communicate with partners, customers, and suppliers.

Native Federation with Google™ Talk Service
Google’s public IM service is based on XMPP so Jabber XCP natively federates with Google Talk. Because they use the same protocol, Jabber XCP users can communicate with Google Talk users without any transport or gateway software. Click here for more information on Google’s open communications application programming interfaces (APIs).

SIP/SIMPLE Gateway
A foundational element of Jabber XCP's support for multi-protocol messaging and presence, the SIP/SIMPLE Gateway allows Jabber XCP users to exchange presence information and IMs with users on IBM Lotus Sametime and Microsoft Office Communications Server (OCS) systems, while maintaining communication with other XMPP-based solutions. The gateway is available for the Microsoft Windows Server Platform, in addition to Solaris and Linux.
