The JabberWerx AJAX Library provides a suite of JavaScript libraries and user interface (UI) components which allow a developer to add AJAX driven Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP) functionality to web pages and applications.
JabberWerx AJAX Library capabilities include:
- One-to-one chat
- Group chat with room participant list
- Presence display
- Client side data persistence across multiple web page loads
- XMPP events trigger client-side actions/updates
- Notification indicators
- Basic Bidirectional-streams Over Synchronous HTTP (BOSH) connectivity (XMPP Extension Protocol 0124 (XEP-0124))
- Auto-creation of pseudo-anonymous accounts
