Jabber Appoints Tucker Fagan to Board of Directors
Military Veteran and Accomplished Business Executive to Help Direct Growth Strategies

April 2, 2008 – Denver, Colo. – Jabber, Inc. today announced that Tucker Fagan has joined its board of directors. As a board member Tucker Fagan will be instrumental in charting the strategic direction of Jabber, and will contribute to expanding Jabber’s market presence in key vertical markets. Tucker Fagan brings unique military, business, and technology experience to Jabber’s distinguished board of directors.

Tucker Fagan joins Jabber’s board of directors with more than forty years of business and military experience, most recently serving as chief executive officer of the Wyoming Business Council, which is the state agency charged to expand and strengthen the Wyoming economy through business development in the technology, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, tourism, and travel industries. He worked with the governor, legislature, city and county officials, and businesses which resulted in among other benefits a dramatic increase in Wyoming’s per capita income moving from thirty-fifth to second.

Tucker Fagan served thirty years with the United States Air Force as a commander at the squadron and wing levels, and as a strategic planner in several headquarters positions. His final assignment was vice commander of the Twentieth Air Force, in which he was second in command of over 14,000 personnel and the land-based nuclear alert force. In this position Tucker Fagan was also responsible for the oversight, planning, budgeting, operations, maintenance, security, and safety of the missile forces at Wyoming’s F.E. Warren Air Force Base, Montana’s Malmstrom Air Force Base, and North Dakota’s Minot and Grand Forks Air Force Bases. Prior to that he was chief of organization for the United States Air Force where he worked with the Air Force’s chief of staff to implement the most significant reorganization of the service—from the Pentagon down to the field units—since its inception in 1947.

Among Fagan’s headquarters assignments was a position as the Air Force representative to the Secretary of Defense, where Fagan was responsible for implementing the administration’s “reinvention of government” plan in the Department of Defense to include developing plans to improve government business practices and reducing management layers and written regulations by more than fifty percent. He was one of the four Air Force and four Navy officers charged with targeting all intercontinental ballistic missile weapons, and was selected to lead the Joint Chiefs of Staff Nuclear Warfare Section.

“Tucker’s extensive military experience provides unique insight into the applications of real-time collaboration for the military and other government agencies,” said Paul Guerin, chief executive officer of Jabber. “This federal knowledge combined with his state and local business experience will enable him to assist in further establishing Jabber as the leading presence and messaging solution for the government market.”
