Jabber, Inc.’s professional services team worked with BAE Systems, one of the largest government information technology (IT) contractors, to install the Jabber Extensible Communications Platform™ (Jabber XCP™) in support of the Department of Homeland Security. The customer wanted all of the new product features available in the upcoming version of Jabber XCP before the product was ready for release. Jabber, Inc.’s professional services team used a clustering configuration to ensure high availability of the beta version and migrated it to the full production version upon the product’s general release. Furthermore, we created a custom branded version of our Jabber Messenger™ for the Web instant messaging (IM) client for BAE’s production environment.
